I Read and Recommend
Building Traditions
My husband and I started reading with my son right when he was born. It is truly one of the most important activities for children. As soon as he could stand up, we started going to libraries. I wanted him to be surrounded by books and libraries to be a part of our family tradition, and our "culture."

Empowering Children
I feel strongly about supporting a child's growing mind and imagination. As we grow, sometimes our creativity wanes and reality presses us to think one-directionally. Developing a love for reading doesn't just help children enjoy learning, but it empowers them to seek information in thoughtful ways and using reputed, reliable sources. Reading helps children build a repository of vocabulary and makes them better communicators in life. It instills a love for language and helps connect us all, no matter what our personality or where we come from. It excites children's minds, stoking the fire of their imagination, and helping develop a future of writers and authors.
Supporting Authors
Writers and authors work hours, days, weeks, and even years, to put together beautiful stories that educate, inform, enlighten, and transport. Encouraging readers propels a world of stories and new generations of writers.
There's a story (or more) out there for everyone, and I feel that every author has a space for themselves.
